Questi indici settoriali sono index-weighted in relazione alla capitalizzazione di mercato delle società in essi contenute. Gli indici comprendono le maggiori società nei rispettivi settori degli stati membri EU, Norvegia e Svizzera
Gli indici sottostanti non sono replicati direttamente tramite l’acquisto delle azioni contenute nell’indice, ma indirettamente, tramite una o piu’ operazioni di swap.
Le date rilevanti per questa nuova tipologia di ETF sono le seguenti:
